Baidu Webmaster Platform Restricts Fast Inclusion and Sitemap Submission Privileges, Opens Doors to VIP Sites Only

Recently, Baidu Webmaster Platform announced that since November 30, 2023, it will take back the website's “Fast Inclusion” and “Sitemap Submission” privileges, in order to comprehensively upgrade the rights and interests system of the search resource platform. Meanwhile, according to Baidu's notice "Notice on Recovery of Website Submission Quota" released on September 22, 2023, sites under non-real-name accounts as well as low-quality sites will stop Sitemap submission privileges due to the nuisance of blackmail and cheating. Baidu will gradually recover permissions for compliant sites and adjust the API daily push quota.
In order to curb the gray industry, the services are gradually shifting to VIP, and the real name system and filing requirements for websites. Baidu Webmaster VIP Club restarted its joining plan on November 24, 2023, requiring sites to pass real-name authentication and complete ICP filing, with more than 1 year of operation, consistent with the national filing, and with an average daily click volume of more than 1W in the last 30 days, as well as high content quality, deep depth, and good user experience. All kinds of illegal, marginal, high-risk and low-professional sites will be refused to join.
VIP club members will enjoy more resource submission quotas, priority solution response for urgent issues, internal testing privileges, and customized activity participation and other privileges. This adjustment is aimed at improving site quality and optimizing user experience, as well as strengthening the management and supervision of search resources.
